What is a Carbon Spectra Peel/Healite treatment?
It is officially known as our “carbon peel plus vitamin C under low-level light” therapy. You might know the carbon peel by another celebrity-inspired name: the “Hollywood Facial.”
It is a painless, highly requested procedure that instantly creates bright, healthy results. By using a unique combination of carbon lotion, a laser, and gentle red light therapy, we leave your skin feeling soft and youthful.

How does the Spectra laser work?
The laser works in 2 ways: breaking up melanin and heating skin tissues.
The laser targets the pigmentation in your cells, breaking up the melanin and naturally removing it, creating a calm, even complexion. The laser’s heat also works deep into the dermis during treatment. This causes the skin to contract and produce more collagen.
What should you expect during treatment?
The treatment begins with a staff member applying a light layer of Spectra carbon lotion to your skin.
After the carbon sets, the therapy session proceeds, with the laser creating small snapping sounds as it fires. You will feel a slight, warm tingle as it slowly removes all the carbon. This process takes dead skin cells and other impurities along with the stratum corneum (top layer of skin).
After the skin is cleansed of any remaining carbon, our staff applies a Vitamin C mask from our professional-grade SkinCeuticals skincare line. This nourishing mask is paired with our Healite (red light therapy) treatment to enhance the radiance and glow of the skin.
